Our Courses
Anthony & Holmes Consulting specializes in delivering learning solutions that fall into two broad categories: leadership development and DEI. We can do shorter one or two-day workshops, but our clients typically opt for at least 3 workshops or 21 hours of training to access the CANADA ALBERTA JOB GRANT.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

There are many leadership skills but some matter more than others because they are so much harder to master like handling conflict, managing performance, motivating people, thinking critically, and being confident and resilient. We have opted to build depth of knowledge in these topics to bring about the biggest positive impact in organizations.
The Art and Practice of Tough Conversations
Interpersonal conflict is a given in most organizations, but handling yourself and supporting others in those tough conversations is a learned skill, even for the best of us. This course develops the crucial skills for when opinions clash, stakes are high, and people get emotionally invested in outcomes. The learning is designed for leaders but can be customized to all employees.
Reimagining Performance Management
In today’s dynamic, hybrid workplaces, traditional performance management methods are giving way to more human-centric approaches. This course takes a deep dive into situational supervision and the leading practices to implement more pragmatic, personal, and agile approaches to motivating and supporting staff in their performance and potential.
Leading a Highly Engaged Team
The most recent research is clear: highly engaged employees are the pre-requisite to the much-coveted, high-performance team. This course heightens engagement through applying visionary, transformational, and servant leadership models to teams, along with the practical implementation of a team charter to co-create a shared meaning and approach to work, and the psychological safety that sustains trust.
Critical Thinking Skills for Leaders
Certain practical leadership skills matter far more than others over the long-term. This course focuses on the critical skills of problem solving, decision making, thinking big picture, prioritizing, delegating, and communicating these masterfully in ways that strengthen a team’s confidence in leaders and enhance overall group performance.
The Pursuit of Confident Leadership
Many leaders at some point experience imposter syndrome or come to a point in their careers where they feel like they have plateaued or feel burned out. This course aims to bring leaders into the next level of their potential by digging deep into the personal and social competencies that define outstanding transformational leaders. The course is designed to revitalize leadership teams. We highly recommend including opportunities for one-on-one coaching for participants.

The goal is to learn how to adjust to these differences, build into the similarities, and help create a workplace where everyone feels a meaningful sense of opportunity and belonging.

We all entertain biases, conscious and unconscious, that can negatively affect us and other people. This course is designed to bring about heightened awareness and enhanced skill sets in individuals, and to move organizations from compliance to tactical, integrated, and sustainable DEI initiatives. The learning can be customized to leaders or to all employees.
Intercultural Skills for a Diverse Workforce
In our diverse workplaces, cultural differences are often the source of misunderstandings that lead to barriers, silos, and interpersonal conflict. This course develops the core intercultural skills in people to move from cultural curiosity to confidence and competence, and builds the capacity to leverage similarities and adapt to differences. The learning can be customized to leaders or to all employees.
From Integration to Belonging
Moving into a new cultural context can be stressful and disorienting at times, whether you have moved from another country or region of Canada. This course takes people through the four stages of integration and cultivates the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that ultimately accelerate the journey and result in an authentic sense of belonging.This course is designed for immigrants or those who have moved from regional cultures across Canada.
Workplace Communication 1: English for Fluency and Confidence
This course focuses on the practical skills of presenting information clearly, concisely, and coherently in both written and verbal messaging. The learning is tailored towards professionals for whom English is not their first language, with the goals of growth and career advancement.
Workplace Communication 2: English for Highly Demanding Situations
This course explores the nuances of word choices in writing and speaking skills as they relate to influence and interpersonal communication. The learning is tailored towards second language, bilingual, or multilingual speakers from diverse cultural backgrounds, with the goals of growth and career advancement.
Training costs vary depending on the length of the course, time to tailor content, number of participants in the cohort, and whether different levels of evaluation and assessment to measure ROI are included.
We offer pre and post knowledge-based participant assessment or more comprehensive application-based participant assessment for an additional cost.
